In 1 way, India is not unique to the plan of plant-protein at all. Beyond the country, we eat what is generally known as ‘dal chawal’ or lentils with rice. Lentils can continue to beans or even peas – together recognized as legumes.
Rice or corn or millet or any other fabric is an excellent supplement to plants in that it works as a complete protein providing all necessary amino acids. Plant Protein in India is used commonly, So, This natural combination, which can be possessed on any corner of the country, is the exceptionally nutritious and democratic food of India.
It is also utterly plant-based if it is cooked with any of our natural oils such as mustard, sesame, or coconut.
However, while we all love our manageable homemade food, frequently, we want variety, and we require more of a surprise from our diet.
That is where Green has been innovating over the last four to five years with plant proteins. We had been obeying a global movement towards plant-based living over the previous two decades.
This has only struck up more momentum with vegan and vegetarian food frequently going mainstream in much of the Advanced Western world. Closer to home, we are previously the largest vegetarian country on the planet. However, as they say, knowledge breeds contempt. We have learned almost to dislike vegetarian food, especially when ‘eating out in the hotels.
This is what we are working to change – we are making vegetarian suggestive again! The buzzing is also helping with stars like Virat Kohli, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Jacqueline Fernandez having left or been vegan for some time now.
In the western world, particularly North America and Europe, when someone chooses to go vegan or vegetarian, they still can have desires for meat. Even non-vegetarians would decide to eat more plant-based, but are powerless to forego the pleasure that they receive from their carnivorous preferences!
Hence, enough of the food change in the West has focused around making the plant-based protein that simulates the taste, texture, and density of chicken, pork, or beef.
The most advanced food technology in this area uses highly sophisticated methods to mimic or create a manufactory version of the meat or what is now increasingly also being applied to as plant meat.
Here in Asia, inspired by the Buddhist leadership in places like Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, among others, we have identified of mock meat for several decades. This more straightforward mock meat, as opposed to the more sophisticated western plant meat, is made primarily of either gluten or soya.
