iPhone X or Pixel 2
We have seen two great phones this year receiving all the highlights and they truly deserve it as they both are powerful and beautiful phones of this year and in 2018 as well.
But what we didn’t notice while Samsung and Apple compete to become the best phones is the Pixel Phone that has been there from the start giving us if not the same, then better specifications than that of iPhone X. How is that claim being made? If you receive a similar machine with equally effective specifications but a lot cheaper, then what would you normally choose? But jokes apart iPhone X is an amazing phone that runs on Apple’s latest iOS 11, while Pixel 2 runs on Google’s latest operating system that is 8.0 Oreo.
The choice is always of the user and what their preferences are. But what I can do is jot down some differences between these phones – iPhone X and Pixel 2.
First is obvious ‘The Price’
Both iPhone X and Pixel 2 are classic flagship phones with one-of-a-kind cameras supporting top-notch software and hardware. So what are their prices? Pixel 2 starts from $650 while iPhone X starts from $1000. Now this is a big difference. Even the mighty Pixel 2 XL’s starting price is lower than iPhone X’s.
Second is the-look/ the size of the screens
The screen size of pixel 2 is a clear winner at a cheaper price. That is definitely something to consider.
The best part is Pixel 2 comes with a bigger screen at the same level of weight that the iPhone X has. Having a bigger screen is always a plus.
Third best feature? Camera
The camera is one of the most important features that is mostly the leading point in buying the phone. And Pixel 2 packs a strong camera that has also had the best reviews. If you are a camera buff then this phone would be in your top favorites.
iPhone X is without a doubt a powerful machine and one cannot simply brush this fact away, as it has an A11 Bionic chip, a custom-built processor by Apple giving its performance additional speed and 3 GB RAM with options for either 64GB or 256GB. So the high price tag is justified if you go thoroughly with all the specifications.
The Pixel 2 however is cheaper and contains a Snapdragon 835, a high-performance processor that is provided by US chipmaker Qualcomm. This particular chip-set has been embedded in various other big phones and has been working remarkably in shop online Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 8 and others. Its speed is super fast. The processor is 4GB RAM with options between 64 GB and 128GB.
Fourth? The repair cost
iPhone X is no ordinary phone, and hence its repairs can also cost one a large sum. Although the phone is so delicate from the outside that you can literally break it with just one drop, and that truly is a $1000 nightmare that you wouldn’t want to go through again. Pixel 2 on the other hand is a safer option.
So it truly comes down to preference, we can only state the obvious we see. Hope this was informative and entertaining.
